Counselling Support Available
All current Home-Start volunteers have free access to the DAS counselling helpline. This confidential service is available 24/7 and offers support with any personal or emotional issues you may be facing, whether related to your volunteering role or not. You can speak with a qualified counsellor at any time by calling 0117 934 2121 and quoting our scheme name, Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Your wellbeing matters, and we’re here to ensure you feel supported as you support others.

Diary Sheets!
Please remember to complete these after your visit each week Volunteer diary sheet.
Expenses
Please remember to send these into the office with your Diary Sheets. Volunteer Expense Form (pdf). If you do not wish to claim expenses it is advantageous to the scheme to claim and donate with gift aid. Contact the office for more information.
I.D. Badges:
If you haven’t already done so please send in 2 passport size photos of yourself to the office, as we are in the process of making all of our volunteers I.D. badges.
VTE’s -Volunteer Training Events
Do you want to develop your role as a volunteer or to gain new skills for a job?
Attending VTE’S and Peer Support will help you brush up your skills, gain new ones and boost your confidence. You also get chance to meet other volunteers and swap experiences.

Volunteer Reps
Our official volunteer representatives, look out for the interests of our volunteer base and sit on the management committee.
