Home-Start Bristol
& South Gloucestershire
There for parents when they need us most, because childhood can't wait
You can become a guardian for future generations by leaving a gift in your will.
We don’t know what the future will look like, however what we do know is that parents will always face tough times and families will always need support.
After providing for family and friends, we know some people want to leave something to charity in their will, ensuring continued support for causes close to their heart.
Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire is not funded by the government, but instead relies on grant funding and donations from individuals. As you may know, we work with families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire who may be struggling and who have at least one child under five, to ensure that no child’s future is limited. Families may be facing issues such as food poverty, isolation, financial pressures, or physical and mental health issues. Our trained volunteers visit families at home once a week to provide free, confidential support and practical advice at that time of need. The early years are the most important and the positive impact on a child can last a lifetime.
If you have already made a will, it is possible to add a codicil through your solicitor, without having to start again. Any gift, however small, will have a long-lasting impact on children in Bristol and South Gloucestershire to give them a better start in life. Thank you.
