Fatherhood can be exhausting and challenging, and often throws you into the unknown, our goal is help remind you, as a Dad, of just how important you are to your baby and your family, and help you be the best Dad you can be, by providing access to services traditionally targeted at Mums, by working directly with said services, by providing education about Fatherhood, pregnancy, child development and everything in between, and by building positive relationships with you and your family, and the network of professionals we can help you access.

Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire’s Dad Matters Co-ordinators look forward to calling upon their collective experience in fatherhood, early years education and social care to help you navigate the choppy waters of the perinatal period, because Dads are at their best for their babies, when they’re at their best for themselves too.

Dads can be referred to the programme by a professional or they can self refer using the forms below. Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire’s new Dad Matters service will look to build on the already sterling family support services currently provided by Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire by expanding said services to specifically target Dad’s in need of guidance, support, healthcare referrals or even just a place to be seen and heard.
