Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire are looking for a Family Support Coordinator to join our busy, friendly team.
Home-Start is a charity working with families with at least one child aged five and under. Our volunteers offer regular support, friendship, and practical help to prevent family crisis and breakdown.
The role of the Co-ordinator is to assess and review the needs of families and offer an appropriate package of support. The role is also responsible for supporting, training and mentoring volunteers working with those families. We are looking for someone with experience of parenting and volunteering and of working with families and family support agencies.
Starting salary £28,163 FTE. We are open to discussion with the successful candidate about the exact number and distribution of the hours, though we will require you to work on Wednesday mornings and on a Friday.
